Reservations & Payments

Custom Cakes (Form Required)

 

Custom cake orders must be submitted through the Custom Cake Request Form.
Requests sent by DM, comments, or email do not place you on the schedule.

All custom cake orders are first paid, first served.
Submitting a form does not secure your date until the requested deposit is received.
If the deposit is not made when requested, the date may be released to another client.

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to place your custom cake order.
• The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event date.
• Orders placed within 2 weeks of your event require full payment at booking.

Treats, Bento Boxes & Ready-to-Order Cakes

 

All treat boxes, bento boxes, and ready-to-order cakes must be placed directly through the website.
Full payment is required at checkout.

Last-Minute Orders (Important Update)

 

I no longer accept last-minute orders.
All orders must be placed a minimum of 4 days before your event date.

This allows enough time to plan, bake, decorate, and ensure the highest quality for your treats.

Requests made within 3 days or less of the event date will not be accepted, even if I have availability.
No exceptions.

Cancellations

 

If you need to cancel your order:

  • Your 50% deposit is non-refundable, but it can be credited toward a future date.

  • If your order was paid in full, only the remaining balance (after the 50% deposit) is refundable.

  • If you do not wish to rebook a future date, only 50% of your payment can be refunded, and the deposit is forfeited.

Please provide at least 2 weeks' notice so your spot can be offered to someone else.

Communication Policy

 

I will contact you one week before your event to confirm details.
If I do not receive a response within 24 hours, your order will be canceled with no refund, as I cannot proceed without confirmation.

Pick-Up Policy

 

Once your order leaves Mianas Cakes possession, it is no longer my liability.
You are responsible for proper transportation, handling, and temperature control to keep your treats in perfect condition.

Delivery Policy

 

Deliveries are made during specific windows:

  • Tuesdays & Fridays: 9:30–11:30 AM

  • Saturdays: 11:30 AM–1:30 PM

Allergen & Dietary Disclaimer

 

While many items can be made allergen-friendly, my kitchen is not a certified allergen-free facility.
Cross-contamination is possible.
For this reason, items cannot be guaranteed safe for severe allergies or celiac disease.

Clients with serious allergies should order with caution.

Order Changes Policy

Design or flavor changes must be requested no later than 7 days before your event.
Changes requested after this window may not be possible.
